Roya Allegra is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and the founder of Earth Studio, a local yoga studio in Montoursville, PA. Based in Pennsylvania now, she was born and yoga certified in San Diego, California. Before starting her yoga journey, Roya was always finding ways to stay connected to nature. She lived on the beach in San Diego, and became an event coordinator at a venue as close to the ocean as she could find. This deep connection to nature lead her to a strong desire to travel. Through exploring, she was eventually lead to a yoga mat in 2017. Yoga became a pillar of healing for Roya. She was experiencing heightened states of anxiety, so she knew there were root causes needing to be tended to. After living in Egypt for years, along with other parts of Africa and the Middle East - She received certifications in Reiki, Breathwork, Sound-healing, and as a Shamanic Practitioner. All of this ancient wisdom lead her to focus on women’s healing offerings. She is known for her Vinyasa flows to strengthen the body while adding a relaxing harmonizing element of breath work and spirituality. Roya is passionate about creating a conscious, and welcoming environment for other’s evolution and empowerment.
